Since entering the art scene in 2012 I have been obsessed with simplicity. My style has always been messy, as i feel this is the best way to express what is going on inside of my head. Before entering cryptoart in late 2019, I had only painted on canvas and had never made a digital work! Over these past two years I have learned so much I still can't believe some of the stuff I know how to do. I decided to use these digital tools to simplify my style down to the bare minimum. Using custom brushes and the Procreate application, I was able to do something I have always wanted to do, yet it is still messy, so it is still me, but oh so simple! The one thing I learned doing this is, even colors without full saturation can be beautiful too. LOL.

i Broke my Heart

This one time, shortly after I got out of the army, I was broke af. Then I broke my iphone. Double broke. Found someone on craigslist that said they could fix it for the low low. Met them in the Walmart parking lot. They gave me a receipt, and I never saw my phone again. THAT MF GOT ME. And i did it to myself. i Broke my Heart.

This one time, I said eat me to a girl when i was a young kid. She told me what it meant, and she told my parents. I had no clue. I still remember the embarrassment, and it's crazy to me that it's been more than 30 years. Fuck I'm old, EAT ME!

So, I have this friend that I have know my entire life. He/She was the first person I told about NFTs. When I told them I was quitting my job to become a full time artist, they told me it was a bad idea because my art sucks. LOL, tell that to my sales volume MF!

Phishing

Before art became my fulltime position, I handled the network security for a city with a population of about 1 million. I tried to get my "higher up" to deploy a 2FA policy, but they claimed it would be too difficult for city employees, you know, judges, police, firefigheters, all the people that have control over the direction our life can go in, split seconds.
Our network was comprimised several times over my last few months in that postion and it was HELL each time. FUCK, still pisses me off. Then, that same MF text me when btc price dumped a few months later about, man whats up with bitcoin.

It's a feeling you get when you are too hard on yourself, second guessing your judgement, questioning your worth. I fall into those deep holes of darkness, and ART has been my only way out.

Late on Rent

This was shortly after getting my first apartment and going through the biggest breakup of my life. It was a fucked up few years. I still remember being on my patio when the landlord came. I smoking a cigarette and told him i was a little short on the rent. Promised I would have it by next week. This mf says, "you got money to smoke, you should have money to keep a roof over your head." As bad as it made me feel, he was right, and I'm not even mad at him. I have since quit smoking cigarretts and feel much better about my situation.
